What is The A Game?
The A Game isn't a sport, but it is a team. We introduce, instill and certify teens and young adults with the 7 fundamental workplace values that are a prerequisite for success in ALL careers; engaging them in a community of like-minded peers and mentors who connect them to exceptional employment opportunities and prepares them for the future.
Ultimately, the A Game Initiative is composed of the business people, educators, and workforce centers across the nation that demand, train, and live the seven fundamental workplace values in their day-to-day operations.
The A Game "practices what it preaches" by basing its own business model in the 7 fundamental principles it advocates. We employ the following values in operating our company:
Teens’ Best Interest Comes First - We are committed to always putting the teen before profits and building and delivering products that are relevant to them.
Employer Driven - Everything we do will address REAL employment needs for teens, identified by employers.
Never Sacrifice Quality for Profits - We will always deliver a top quality product.
Better Today Than Yesterday - We will encourage employees to submit new ideas regularly and think and act like they own the business.
Embody the 7 Fundamental Values - We will live the values we teach every day and seek to do business with other companies we believe do so as well.
Seek Partners in Our Business - All Employees will have a stake in the business, performance will be tied to company profits and employees will be challenged to grow and add value to the company.
Remove Distractions From Work - We will provide a fair exchange for work, know and support employees’ whole self and create a conscientious environment.
